Women Strike for Peace is a peace activist group. Its efforts focus on grassroots organizing, national campaigns, and the lobbying of members of Congress to prevent the United States from becoming involved in war. Women Strike for Peace supports disarmament, opposes U.S. intervention in foreign conflicts, and works to influence American public opinion against the use of nuclear weapons. The organization keeps its members aware of congressional activities through a monthly newsletter called Women Strike for Peace—Legislative Alert.
